Carbon Fiber Medical Case

Carbon Fiber Medical Case is a professional medical case made of high-strength carbon fiber material, designed for safe storage and convenient transportation of precision medical equipment, medicines or first aid supplies. Its core advantages are:

Lightweight and strong: Carbon fiber material has excellent impact and pressure resistance while ensuring ultra-light weight (more than 50% lighter than traditional metal), suitable for emergency rescue or field medical scenes.
Protective performance: Built-in shockproof buffer layer, waterproof, dustproof, anti-corrosion, can cope with extreme environments; some models support temperature control module to meet the constant temperature requirements of special medicines.
Portable design: Ergonomic handle/strap structure, some products integrate smart locks and GPS tracking to improve safety and management efficiency.

Applicable to professional fields such as hospitals, military, aviation emergency, etc., taking into account functionality and technology.

Carbon Fiber Medical Case
Autoclave-grade carbon fiber reinforced polymer case constructed with epoxy or PPS thermoplastic matrix. Tensile strength of shell 450-600 MPa, density 1.55 g/cm3. Radiolucent property: X-ray transmission rate above 92 percent at 80 kVp, enabling in-case scanning without removing contents. Operating temperature range -30 degrees Celsius to 120 degrees Celsius. Available in sizes from portable trauma kits to stationary equipment enclosures (200 x 150 x 70 mm to 600 x 400 x 200 mm).
Tensile strength450-600 MPa
X-ray transmittancegreater than 92 percent
Autoclave cycles500 plus cycles at 121°C
Key functional advantages
  • Sterilization compatibility: Withstands steam autoclave (121 degrees Celsius, 0.2 MPa), ethylene oxide, gamma radiation (up to 50 kGy), and hydrogen peroxide plasma.
  • Chemical resistance: Unaffected by isopropyl alcohol, bleach solutions (diluted), peracetic acid, and hospital-grade disinfectants per ISO 2812.
  • EMI shielding: Surface resistivity 10 to the power of 3 ohms per square, providing electromagnetic protection for sensitive diagnostic instruments.
  • Weight reduction: 40 to 55 percent lighter than aluminum cases of equivalent structural rigidity, reducing transport fatigue for mobile medical teams.

Cleaning protocol
Clean with neutral pH detergent or 70 percent isopropyl alcohol. Avoid abrasive pads that may remove surface resin. Ultrasonic cleaning permissible up to 10 minutes at 40 degrees Celsius.
Storage conditions
Store between -10 degrees Celsius and 50 degrees Celsius. Avoid prolonged UV exposure; UV-stable clear coat available for outdoor field use.
Hardware compatibility
Molded-in stainless steel threaded inserts (M4, M5, M6). Padlock hasp, pressure relief valve, or carrying handle options available.
Quality traceability
Serial number per case with batch cure records. Test reports for mechanical and radiolucent properties available upon request.
Frequently asked questions and technical notes
Maximum autoclave cycles before degradation
Epoxy matrix: 500 cycles at 121 degrees Celsius with 10 percent residual strength reduction. PPS thermoplastic: 1000 plus cycles with no measurable degradation.
Conductive vs non-conductive for electronics
Standard carbon fiber is conductive. Non-conductive version uses glass fiber outer layer or insulating gel coat for electronics that require electrical isolation.
Repair procedures for damaged shell
Epoxy-based carbon patch repair for cracks under 50 mm. Replace case if impact causes delamination exceeding 30 percent of panel area.
Compliance with medical transport regulations
Meets ISTA 2A and ASTM D4169 for distribution testing. Non-pyrogenic and biocompatible surface finish available upon request.
