Epoxy Resin Glassfiber Insulation Board
Continuous E-glass fabric layers impregnated with brominated epoxy resin, compression molded at 160°C and 14 MPa. Dielectric strength 20–28 kV/mm (ASTM D149), water absorption ≤0.15% after 24 hours immersion. Operating temperature class F (155°C) with UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. Thickness range 0.3 mm to 50 mm, available in natural green, white, yellow, and black for electrical insulation and structural mounting.

Storage & handling
▸ Keep flat on pallets with edge support. Maximum stack height 800 mm to prevent warpage.
▸ Humidity range: 40% – 70% RH. Prolonged exposure >80% RH may increase water absorption above 0.3%.
▸ Avoid direct contact with copper or bare steel surfaces during long-term storage (oxidation risk).
Common questions & notes
Max operating voltage? 2.5 kV per mm thickness for AC (60% derating for DC).
Post-forming capability? No thermoforming after curing; pre-impregnated sheets only.
Outgassing in vacuum? TML 0.45%, CVCM 0.08% — suitable for vacuum chambers.
Warpage control? Annealing at 120°C for 2 hours reduces residual stress after machining.
