Structural Carbon Fiber Cloth is designed for primary and secondary load-bearing applications where mechanical performance and structural integrity are paramount. The fabric features high-tow (12k–24k) architecture with optimized weave density to achieve fiber volume fractions exceeding 55% in cured laminates. Special surface treatment enhances interlaminar shear strength and fracture toughness, making this cloth suitable for aerospace, automotive, wind energy, and marine structures. Available in plain, twill, and multiaxial weaves, with areal weights ranging from 400 to 1200 g/m². This product meets stringent structural certification requirements including ASTM D3039, D3410, and D6641.

Layup & Processing
- Stacking sequence: Orient plies according to load path; typical [0/90/±45]s for quasi-isotropic panels.
- Compaction: Apply 0.8 – 1.2 bar vacuum pressure; use caul plates for uniform thickness.
- Resin selection: Use structural epoxy or vinyl ester with Tg ≥ 120 °C for elevated temperature service.
- Cure cycle: Follow resin supplier schedule; post-cure recommended for maximum Tg (≥ 150 °C).
- Quality control: Ultrasonic NDT recommended for void detection in primary structures.
