Processing & Handling Guidelines

Resin infusion

Epoxy resin systems with viscosity 200–600 cP at 25 °C produce complete fiber wet-out. Use flow media and peel ply to maintain uniform resin distribution across large panels.

Prepreg conversion

Compatible with hot-melt and solvent-based epoxy impregnation. Recommended resin content: 35% – 38% by weight for structural prepreg applications.

Cutting & kitting

Use ultrasonic or oscillating knife cutting systems to prevent fraying. Seal cut edges with hot-knife or edge tape to maintain tow integrity during layup.

Storage conditions

Store in sealed moisture-barrier bags at 18–24 °C, relative humidity below 55%. Sizing remains stable for 18 months from date of manufacture.
