Prepreg carbon fiber canopy manufactured via matched metal molding or autoclave curing. Toray T700 3K twill fabric with high-toughness epoxy resin. Tensile modulus 65 GPa, flexural strength 750 MPa. Designed for DJI M300, Mavic 3, Matrice, and custom FPV frames. Internal clearance designed for GPS module, IMU, and payload interface cables. Surface resistivity 10-100 ohm per square for ESD protection.

Integration and assembly notes
Mounting screws should use nylon washer to prevent galvanic corrosion between carbon and aluminum airframe.

EMI gasket channel available for shielding against electromagnetic interference from ESC modules.
Ventilation slots can be integrated during molding for battery or ESC cooling airflow.

Handling and maintenance protocol
01. Cleaning — Use isopropyl alcohol (70 percent) with lint-free cloth. Do not submerge in liquid.
02. Inspection — Check for delamination by tap test before each flight. Dull sound indicates separation.
03. Repair — Small cracks filled with epoxy resin. Replace cover if impact damage exceeds 15 mm crack length.
04. Storage — Keep away from direct sunlight when not in use. UV clear coat extends service life to 2,000 flight hours.
Does carbon fiber block GPS signal?
Uncoated carbon fiber attenuates RF signals. Our canopies include a non-conductive surface layer (glass fiber or gel coat) that reduces signal loss to below 0.5 dB, allowing GPS and telemetry reception without external antennas.
Maximum operating altitude and temperature
Altitude up to 7,000 m. Continuous operating temperature -30°C to 85°C. Short-term exposure to 110°C (direct sunlight on dark surfaces).
Custom mold cost and lead time
Aluminum mold: USD 1,800-2,500, lead time 25-30 days. Sample canopies provided within 5 days after mold completion.
