This fabric delivers a minimum fiber-level tensile strength of 4900 MPa, making it suitable for primary structural applications where load-bearing capacity is critical. The fabric is available in 3k, 6k, and 12k tow sizes with areal weights ranging from 200 to 800 g/m². Weave options include plain, twill, and satin patterns to balance strength with drapeability. Standard modulus fibers (230–240 GPa) with 3500–3800 MPa are more common in industrial applications. High strength fibers deliver approximately 30% higher tensile strength for critical load-bearing structures.

High-strength structural epoxy resin systems (with Tg ≥ 180°C) are recommended to fully utilize the fiber's tensile capability. For cost-sensitive applications, high-performance vinyl ester systems can also be used. Ensure the resin's strain-to-failure exceeds 2% to avoid premature matrix cracking.

Yes. High strength fabric is fully autoclave compatible. Recommended pressure: 5–7 bar; temperature: up to 180°C. With vacuum bagging only, you can still achieve good results but with slightly reduced fiber volume fraction (55% vs. 60% with autoclave).

With vacuum bagging: 55% – 58%. With autoclave or compression molding: 58% – 62%. The tight weave structure allows high compaction without excessive tow distortion. Higher Vf improves composite stiffness and specific strength.

Store in the original moisture-barrier packaging at 15–28°C and ≤ 60% relative humidity. Shelf life is 18 months from the date of manufacture. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, UV light, and ozone sources.
